Breaking New Grounds is a sustainable pilot system to transform a plentiful waste product into a healthy, living soil, create neighborhood gardens, nutritious food, sustainable jobs and teach young people how this simple process can give birth to amazing possibilities.

Community Farm Alliance

A Kentucky-wide alliance to "organize and encourage cooperation among farmers, rural and urban citizens...to ensure an essential, prosperous place for family-scale agriculture in our economies and communities." We advocate for the establishment of a local food economy for Kentucky through policy, community organizing, and collaboration with city and state agencies, and local organizations.

Earthenirvana LLC

Earthenirvana is Louisville's conservation education facility. We have a lounge and seminar space available to local sustainability and conservation groups, hold regular presentations and meetings, and have retail space to carry the latest and greatest energy and water conservation products and pay the rent to keep the space free to the community.

Louisville Climate Action Network

Louisville CAN! is a network of organizations and individuals committed to fighting global climate change. Individual and organizational members receive periodic educational postings and calls to action. LCAN takes a multi-faceted approach, including offering presentations and educational information, encouraging individuals to take the LCAN pledge, soliciting other organizations to join the network and assist with spreading the word and lobbying governments to actively lead by positive example.
