The Adena Center is a joint project of the Adena Institute and Webster University Louisville. The Center supports a variety of inter-disciplinary community based education, research, sustainable development and media initiatives and offers "action-learning" continuing education and certifications in Sustainability and Community Communications. As a community based partner, the Center collaborates on sustainable development and communications projects with a variety of local/global neighborhood, community, technology, business, and social justice organizations.

Growing Louisville...Green! is meant to be a movement, and community involvement program for the entire city. By bringing together Industry, Government and Community with a mindset of sustained and environmentally sound growth, we hope to create the next generation of policy and action for us all.
The Greater Louisville Sierra club sponsors this outreach program for inner city youth and physically disabled people. The program promotes "appreciation and protection of our local and global environments through a process of outdoor exploration, education, spiritual growth and sharing."
