Captain Planet Foundation Grants
The Captain Planet Foundation awards grants in the amount of $250 - $2,500. The Foundation's objective is to encourage innovative programs that empower children and youth to work individually and collectively to solve environmental problems in their neighborhoods and communities. The Community Foundation of Louisville: Community Grants
The Community Grants Program supports projects designed to help prevent poverty by better preparing children and youth to achieve economic self-sufficiency. Such projects will "help children help themselves" through educational, leadership, mentoring, recreational, cultural and other activities.
